Tara C. McFeely is the Budget Director of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI). She previously served as the Committee Chairman’s lead counterterrorism advisor and Monitor of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s intelligence programs. Prior to joining the SSCI, Ms. McFeely served as a senior advisor to multiple Intelligence Community and Federal Government clients as a Senior Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton. Ms. McFeely also served in the U.S. Navy, initially as a Surface Warfare Officer and Engineer Officer onboard U.S.S. Mount Whitney (LCC 20). She subsequently served as an Intelligence Officer at CINCUSNAVEUR / COMAFSOUTH; the Naval War College; the Office of Naval Intelligence; and as the Flag Aide to the Director of Naval Intelligence. She has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. Ms. McFeely is married to Brooks McFeely, also a Naval Academy graduate, and they have two sons.
