Additional Information: There are fewer opportunities in field positions for Americans than there are for locals citizens. The DC office is 2/3 Americans so some opportunities come up for Americans in the DC office. If students are looking to join the ICRC in field operations, proficiency in multiple languages and previous operational field experience with an NGO or the UN is best. The site visit will be a fifteen minute presentation by Trevor followed by Q & A. Please do your research on ICRC and come prepared with questions.
